Position: Equipment Hauler & Dump Truck Driver Class A CDL
Reports to: Superintendent
We are a 20-year experienced asphalt paving company growing rapidly consistently. We are hiring additional team members for Motor Vehicles Team, and we have an immediate opening for an Equipment Hauler and Dump Truck Driver. We are seeking a Class A CDL Dump Truck Driver to join our team! You will be responsible for safely operating a truck with a capacity of at least 26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW).
The qualified candidate must be willing to travel locally within Atlanta, GA. Travel out of town is rare; however, it may be required on occasion.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:
Safely operate a tri-axle dump truck
Load, mobilize and unload paving equipment
Transport asphalt and/or millings
Properly track and document activity log
Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
Inspect truck before and after trip
Qualifications:
Previous experience in Dump Truck driving with pulling a trailer
Must be able to properly operate a manual dump truck.
Commercial driver's license with clean MVR
Ability to handle physical workload
Strong work ethic
Pass road and drug test
Willing to work out of town on occasion, although rare
Must have clean driving record with at least 5 years driving experience.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $39,000 ($18.75/hour, 750/week) – $55,000 ($26.45/hour, $1058/week), before overtime.
Overtime hours are generally available and are payable at 1 1/2 normal rate.
